Bahl Briney is Boontling for "the good stuff from the coast". This appellation blend Chardonnay is unique as it is sourced from two vineyards on opposite sides of Anderson Valley.. The Valenti Ranch is a mid elevation site (1250-1400ft) along the west ridge of Anderson Valley, 6 miles from the ocean. This hillside vineyard faces North East and is perched on a cool slope facing Anderson Valley below. Clow Ridge is located the eastern ridge of Anderson Valley approximately 1,000 ft, facing south west. The soils on both sites are mélange of ancient oceanic sedimentary materials that include gravelly sandy loams with high Iron content, rocky quartzite, decomposed sandstone and shale with varying degrees of clay.

This lean beautiful Chardonnay is zesty and balanced with energized intensity while still being light on its feet. Enjoy!
